Our building was purpose-built for providing the best possible care to each of our participants. So is our care policy, in the form of a unique Medical Model that features therapeutic diets, on-staff nursing services, activities and more personalized planning and services.   That’s the Coleman Medical Model. That’s what makes Coleman different.

What are Coleman’s Specialized Care Plans?

Every person is different. That’s why every new Coleman Adult Day Services participant receives an individualized care plan to give them the best care.

Our individualized care plans are designed to protect each participant’s well-being while we encourage socialization, independence and activities that keep them strong and stimulate their thinking – all while keeping them safe.

Specialized Care Plans Include Personal Hygiene

If you are a caregiver who could use help with bathing, Coleman offers a fully handicapped  accessible shower room with  staff who can provide this service in a comfortable, respectful, relaxed setting.

This especially reduces caregiver stress with participants with Alzheimer’s Disease, who are often very resistant to being bathed. Our staff provide bathing that’s often safer for both participant and caregiver in our handicapped accessible shower room. 

Specialized Care Plans Accommodate Special Dietary Needs

If your loved one suffers from Dementia and is losing interest in eating, our staff will be sure there are nutritious meals (and plates) served in colors that appeal to people specifically with Dementia. Coleman Adult Day Services will also accommodate most dietary restrictions.

Because of Coleman’s specialized care plans, your loved one will be better prepared for active days…and you will have the rest and peace of mind that will help you remain a good caregiver.
